Plant Inspirations—New for 2008

Come and find out what is new and hot for 2008! The Hardy Plant Society and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society are taking the show on the road to jointly present a lecture by  Michael Bowell on new plant introductions. Michael is a horticulturist by vocation and by avocation. He gardens on five acres in Chester County - 22 miles west of Philadelphia. His business, Create A Scene, Inc., specializes in garden design, installation, and maintenance in the Philadelphia and Shore areas, as well as interior gardening with exotic plants. He focuses on perennials, unusual annuals, tropicals, and orchids. Michael's garden has been featured in Horticulture, Family Circle, and Green Scene magazines, and in Eden on Their Minds by Starr Okenga. Michael is best known for his bold use of color and form and for combining tropical plants and tender perennials with hardy plants to produce exciting combinations. This lecture is open to the public.
