Learn the technique of making a barely discernible graft from Billy
and Jacqui Schwartz. You will end up with your own grafted Japanese
Maple. Cost is $20. The number of participants is limited.

Seed Starting Workshop

Learn from the proprietors of Point Phillip Perennials, who grow many of their unusual plants from seed obtained from the HPS/MAG Seed Exchange. The
Johns' will demonstrate the equipment they use to propagate at their nursery
and offer dos and don’ts for the home propagator. Then workshop participants will get hands-on experience using seed, soil and pots supplied by HPS. Beginners through advanced propagators are welcome. Take advantage of this extraordinary free class. Lunch will be included.
