HPS/MAG Programs 

We are a hub for gardening! The Philadelphia region has a tradition of gardening going back more than300 years. It continues today with more than 30 gardens, historic landscapes and arboreta within 30 miles of the city.

Our enthusiastic and knowledgeable Program Chairperson scouts speakers and topics both nearby, and from across the country. Our lecturers include horticulturalists, authors, researchers and landscape designers.

Upcoming Speaker Programs

This year, we will offer most speaker programs as Hybrid Events. This type of event offers greater flexibility for attendance - the registrants have the option of attending in-person, or virtually.

October 20, 2023 Perennial Plant Conference Co-Sponsored with Scott Arboretum, A Hybrid Event.

HPS/MAG COVID-19 PRACTICES AND POLICIES: All HPS/MAG In-Person Events shall be subject to all COVID-related requirements imposed by any state, local and/or federal agency.  Guests and invitees should apprise themselves of any such requirements prior to attendance.  All HPS/MAG In-Person Events shall also be subject to the COVID-related requirements, if any, of the garden host.  All attendees must bring a mask for every In-Person Event, in case it is required.
