We will tour Waterloo Mills Preserve with its land manager and naturalist to view the impact of recently arrived beavers. The site also includes a 19th century village called Cabbagetown, with barns, blacksmith shop, wheelwright, and gristmill. We will meetup at nearby Radnor town’s The Willows Park for carpooling as parking at Waterloo Mill Preserve and Chanticleer is limited.  After touring Waterloo Mills Preserve to view the impact of nature’s foremost civil engineers, we will visit Chanticleer, only 5 minutes away.  Event is held rain or shine, so dress accordingly, with comfortable walking shoes, and if you like, bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at Chanticleer.  You can also visit the mansion at Willows, and the adjoining Skunk Hollow Park trails afterwards.

Registration is required. Cost is $10 for entrance to Chanticleer.

This event is open to members and non-members. Click here to register for this event.
