This event is full. Join Irene Cassidy, president of the Philadelphia Cactus & Succulent Society and landscape designer, as she shows you ways to incorporate succulents into your home gardens.

Irene Cassidy, landscape designer and owner of Green Irene, is the president of the Philadelphia Cactus and Succulent Society (www.philacactus.org) and a certified plant junkie! Beginning a career as an engineer then switching to a math teacher, Irene never lost her desire to work with plants. In her free time she gardened where she could and attended classes and lectures. Always surrounded by non-succulents, Irene never knew how awesome succulents could be until she met her husband and started attending club meetings. Currently, she strives to make her yard an ecological oasis and find new ways to display her succulent collection. Learn a little bit about succulents and see how you can enjoy them year round!  

"Virtual Wednesday Nights" is a series of fun, educational and informative lectures for Members and Non-members. Some will be free and some will have a fee. Registration is required for each session.  

 This is a free event. This event will be recorded and available to watch for just 2 weeks following the lecture.

Please make sure you have Zoom installed on your computer. Plan to join 5 minutes before; the talk will be followed by a 15 minute Q&A. Questions can be submitted via chat box and will be read to speaker by the HPS/MAG moderator. Please note that all participants will be muted for the duration of the event.
