Guided Tour of Morris Arboretum – Winter Witchhazel Walk

HPS began a special collaboration with the Morris Arboretum in 2022 which allows us to offer docent-guided tours throughout the year focused on specific types of trees within the arboretum’s renowned collection. We are happy to report that this collaboration will continue in 2023.

The first 2023 Morris Arboretum tour promises to be great one. Begin to emerge from the winter doldrums by immersing yourself in the many colors and scents to be found in the Morris Arboretum’s witchhazel collection, one of the largest in the country. Join an experienced guide to discover many varieties of these delightful winter beauties that add surprising bursts of color and fragrance to the winter landscape.

The tour begins at the Widener Visitor Center and will leave promptly at 11:00 AM. Dress for the weather; this is a walking tour.

The arboretum’s hours are 10 AM - 4 PM. Tour attendees may arrive early or stay after the tour to further explore the arboretum. The gift shop and restrooms will be open.

This is a members only event and is limited to 15 participants. Registration is required. $10 per attendee. Click here to register. Registration closes 02/26/23. Rain Date – Friday, March 3.
