Plan to arrive at 10:00 am to join Curator Joel Fry and Horticulturist Katie Jacoby for an intimate history or iented tour of the botanical gardens at Bartram's Garden. We'll begin in th e most recently reimagined gardens, the Carr Garden and Eastwick Garden dis cussing their creation, design inspiration and plant choices. We'll wind ou r way through the lower wilderness gardens and down to the 18th century cid er press hand carved out of river-side Wissahickon schist. Please note that many of our pathways are not paved, appropriate footwear is suggested. We will also be able to amend the tour to accommodate accessibility. All are w elcome to stay and bring a picnic lunch and explore the meadow, bike trail, river and boathouse, Sankofa Farm and community garden plots, everything t hat makes this public garden unique!
