    2019 Membership Directory

Printing Instructions: While this directory can be printed as a full-page directory, it is designed to be printed as a booklet (half page sized) which members often find is a more convenient format. To print it as a booklet, you will need a printer that prints 2-sided documents and you will need to find the booklet feature on your printer, which could be on the initial printing instructions page or on the print properties page. If you wish to have a sturdier cover, place a page with a heavier weight as your initial page, and it will print as both the front and back covers.

  • This is garden touring season! Many HPS/MAG members generously open their gardens to other members. To find open gardens to visit on the Online Member Directory.  Go to "Member Center" click "Member Directory".  To find a garden to visit, click "Open Garden" and click "yes".   Don't forget to call first and make an appointment with the garden owner.
  • Spotted Lanternfly (SLF) is an invasive insect that has spread throughout southeastern Pennsylvania and nearby states. SLF presents a significant threat to agriculture, including the grape, tree-fruit, hardwood and nursery industries. Learn how to recognize SLF and what you can do to help stop its spread. For more information, attend a local meeting, or visit the Penn State Extension website. Report sightings online, or call Penn State's hotline at 1-888-422-3359.

HPS Members Directory and Seed Exchange Catalog Paperless Options

Photo by Carol VerhakeOur Membership Directory is available in the members only section of our website. After logging in to the Member Center, members can look up individual members alphabetically in the Member Directory. There is also the option to do advanced searches by name, location, zip code, open garden, etc.

In the past, HPS printed a Membership Directory, distributed in March. In discussions about the value of a paper copy to our members, HPS has decided to distribute the 2019 directory via email as a PDF file. The 2019 Membership Directory will be emailed to all members  in May.

To change your publication choices, login on the home page, www.hardyplant.org, and click Member Center in the top bar. On the drop-down menu, click My Profile, Edit Profile, then scroll to the bottom to choose whether or not you would like to receive a printed copy of the Membership Directory and the Seed Exchange Catalog. In this section you can also choose to opt in or out of displaying your name in the directory.

Members are also asked about publication preferences as you renew online.
