We are a hub for gardening! The Philadelphia region has a tradition of gardening going back more than 300 years. It continues today with more than 30 gardens, historic landscapes and arboreta within 30 miles of the city.

HPS/MAG Membership covers two people from the same household.  Register yourself first and the second person from your household as "Your Guest" before finishing your registration because you can only fill out the form once, you can't go back into the form to make corrections. Members Only Events means two people from the household may attend.

"Tuesdays@10" and "Virtual Wednesday Evenings" are Educational Series of Virtual Lectures held alternating weeks, every week starting January 9th during the first quarter of every year. They feature a wide range of topics with horticultural experts, organizations and authors.

Upcoming Trips in 2024

April 24-26, 2024 Washington, DC Area Trip Visiting different public gardens in Washington and just outside the city in Virginia.  A garden nursery stop too in Maryland   Registration is open now. For trip information click here. A few spots are still available.

June 17-21, 2024 Newport, RI Trip We will visit some of the mansions, private and public gardens and a nursery stop at The Farmers Daughter and Broken Arrow.  Registration begins January 5, 2024. More information coming shortly.
