About the Members' Garden Tour

The annual Members' Garden Tour is the highlight of our summer season! Organized by the Vice-President, this much-anticipated event takes months of planning and showcases a selection of beautiful private gardens - many belonging to our own HPS/MAG members. The day concludes with a delightful reception.

Over the years, our tours have taken us to West Chester, Kennett Square, Media, Berks County, Bucks County, Wilmington, Delaware, and many charming sections of Philadelphia.

Advance registration is required.

• The tour is free for members.
• Guests are welcome, but must join HPS/MAG at the first garden they visit.

Volunteer Opportunities

Help make the 2026 tour our best yet! Volunteers are needed for the following committees:

Planning Committee
Assist the Vice-President in identifying potential gardens, visiting sites, coordinating with homeowners, mapping routes, and ensuring adequate parking.

Garden Liaison Committee
Support and communicate with garden hosts throughout the process.

Volunteer Liaison Committee
Recruit, schedule, and guide event volunteers—such as greeters, parking assistants, beverage servers, and dessert table helpers.

Reception Committee
Work with caterers or the reception site staff to plan the menu, and coordinate setup and cleanup.

Hospitality Committee
Provide delicious homemade desserts baked by our members for the reception.

Plant Give-Away Committee
Organize and distribute donated plants for our ever-popular giveaway.
