Day Trip: Ladew Topiary Gardens & Cavano’s Nursery Shopping

Join us for a fun day trip to Ladew Topiary Gardens in Monkton, MD and a garden shopping visit to Cavano’s Nursery in Kingsville, MD.  

Guided house and garden tour at Ladew followed by a box lunch in the gardens.  David Culp will join us at Ladew to talk about the latest garden created at Ladew. The Cottage Garden is the first garden visitors see upon arriving at Ladew. It is both whimsical and formal, capturing its creator’s sense of fun and showing the cheerful nature of the property and its original owner, Mr. Harvey Ladew. David and his crew created this garden in 2024. 

Bus trip wouldn't be complete without a garden nursery stop at Cavano’s Nursery (bring your garden crate to hold your plants). Cavano’s is offering to HPS 50% off the retail price, only available on September 11th.

David is also hoping to join us at Cavano's.  Cavano's has carried the Brandywine Collection for a few years now. Don't miss this great opportunity to spend time with David at both locations.
