Spring in All Its Splendor at Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens

We are thrilled that Steve Wright has offered to lead us once again on a spring tour of Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens. Steve is Jenkins’ Director of Horticulture and Curator of Plant Collections, and an excellent tour guide. With an internationally renowned collection of rhododendrons, azaleas, and woodland wildflowers, spring is a great time to visit Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens. Early May is when the majority of the collection is in bloom. Steve will show us some of his spring favorites and talk about the exciting collections expansion projects in store for the coming year.

Join Steve and fellow HPS members on this 2-hour stroll through the Arboretum to see this splendid garden in all its spring glory. As past attendees can attest, this is a not-to-be-missed event! You will find yourself planning your next visit. General admission to Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens is free. You will also find many native plants for sale at affordable prices!

Participants can arrive anytime but the 2-hour tour leaves promptly at 1:30 pm; arriving 15 minutes early is preferable. Be prepared for a fair amount of walking on a hilly site. The gift shop, restrooms, art gallery, and plant shop will all be open. 

Members only. This Pop-Up event costs $15 and registration is required. Maximum number of attendees is 18.

All HPS/MAG In-Person Events shall also be subject to the COVID-related requirements, if any, of the garden host. All attendees must bring a mask for every In-Person Event, in case it is required.
