Roam the Rooms in Chuck’s Garden

Join us for a late spring tour of a wonderful garden in Chester County, PA. This visit to Chuck’s garden was originally scheduled for September 2023 but unfortunately Chuck’s garden experienced severe storm damage days before our planned visit. Chuck is now looking forward to our rescheduled visit. 

Chuck saw an announcement about our HPS/MAG Members’ Garden Tour in June of 2023. His interest in HPS/MAG was piqued. He subsequently contacted us and generously invited us to visit his garden. Chuck describes his garden below.

When we moved here thirteen years ago, we promptly began planting gardens in what had mostly been a yard of grass. We have 3/4 of an acre filled with many different garden rooms throughout the yard. There are ten water features in the gardens; many of them are fountains which Chuck designed. The garden entertainment room had previously been a run-down shed but was totally renovated and repurposed into an enjoyable space. A wood burning stove was added to allow us to make use of this room in the coldest of weather. Visit ‘Highland Manor’ on Facebook to see more photos of our garden.

Please Note: We recommend you wear good walking shoes. There are a few uneven surfaces on some of the trails in the garden but most of the ground is level and easy to walk through.

This is a member’s only event, but registration is required. $5 per attendee. Maximum number of guests is 20.
