Walking Workshop at Goodly Gardens:
Getting Started with Meadow-Making

Want to add a perennial meadow-style garden to your home gardens? Walk with Thom Mrazik and observe his established home naturalistic meadow (4x Blue Ribbon awarded) as it springs anew with ornamental grasses and wildflowers. Discuss design principles and considerations, plants and their placement, staging, and reflections on lessons learned over the years. This walk through Thom’s meadow garden before the seasonal growth has filled in fully is at the perfect time and place to learn these lessons in the art and science of meadow-making.

This will be a casual, up-close walking tour of Thom Mrazik’s naturalistic Goodly Gardens, a PHS Blue Ribbon Award-winning home garden, as well as a Penn State Extension-certified pollinator- and watershed-friendly garden.

Open to members and nonmembers. There is no registration fee*, but registration is required.

Click here to register. Maximum number of attendees is 25. Registration closes May 5th. Address will be provided in the registration confirmation email.

*Instead of a fee, help feed the food insecure/needy by bringing a donation of 5-10 lbs. of nonperishable groceries (e.g., canned, dry, and nonperishable goods) which will be donated to Martha's Choice Food Pantry in Norristown.
