Speaker: Gregg Tepper, Horticulturist at the Arboretum at Laurel Hill and West Laurel Hill Cemeteries

 

Join horticulturist Gregg Tepper for an entertaining and informative lecture on the unique rock garden he created inside the main entrance at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Gregg will share with you its history, design, implementation, and effective plant combinations to reveal what makes it a truly one-of-a-kind garden.

 

 

 

Gregg Tepper, Horticulturist at the Arboretum at Laurel Hill and West Laurel Hill Cemeteries is a professional horticulturist, lecturer, and life-long native plant enthusiast. Early on in his career he held the positions of Wood Path horticulturist and director of horticulture at Mt. Cuba Center in Hockessin, Delaware. He went on to be director of horticulture and board member at Delaware Botanic Gardens, where he was instrumental in developing the gardens’ initial horticultural mission and implementing a two-acre meadow designed by world-renowned garden designer Piet Oudolf. Today, he helps lead the Horticulture team for the Arboretum at Laurel Hill and West Laurel Hill Cemeteries in creating and maintaining the many beautiful gardens and displays, with the Rock Garden among them.

"Virtual Wednesday Nights" is a series of fun, educational and informative lectures for Members and Non-members. Some will be free and some will have a fee. Registration is required for each session. 

This event is $15 for members and $20 for non-members.  Click here to register. Registration ends on January 30th. This event will be recorded and available to watch for just 2 weeks following the lecture. Maximum number of attendees is 100.

Please make sure you have Zoom installed on your computer. Plan to join 5 minutes before; the talk will be followed by a 15 minute Q&A. Questions can be submitted via chat box and will be read to speaker by the HPS/MAG moderator. Please note that all participants will be muted for the duration of the event.
