Seed Saving Workshop

Do you want to save your own seeds, but aren’t sure how to begin? Then join Susan Doblmaier, HPS/MAG Seed Exchange Chairperson, to learn techniques and tricks for saving your own seeds. We will look at the different types of seeds that can be saved, and the various techniques you can use to clean your seeds will be demonstrated. How to store your seeds once cleaned will also be discussed. Some seed cleaning supplies and uncleaned seeds will be provided so that you can learn by doing. Attendees are welcome to bring seed heads from their own gardens to work with in class.

The event will be held at Indian Valley Public Library, 100 East Church Avenue, Telford, Pa.

This event is open to members and nonmembers, but registration is required. The cost is $5 for members; $15 for nonmembers. Maximum number of attendees is 25.
